Welcome Reception and ACP Recognition Ceremony
Thursday, 1830–1930: After the wetlab and didactic courses are finished, why not stick around and attend the welcome reception at the Mövenpick Hotel, which will begin with a ceremony recognising the achievements of those who completed the Light for Sight Associate Certification Program (ACP) and then move on to drinks, discussion and catching up with friends, old and new.
Poster, Wine and Cheese
Friday, 1700–1800: Spend some quality time with the poster presentations, their presenters in a relaxed and unrushed environment. Relax, and have an unrushed dialogue with your colleagues, in a comfortable environment with Swiss-quality cheese… and Swiss-quality wine!
Congress Banquet Dinner
Friday 1900–2200: It’s the social event of the year: the expertly catered CXL Experts’ Meeting Congress Banquet Dinner. Sample the best of Swiss cuisine and enjoy a relaxed – and this year, expertly entertained – dinner. Take the opportunity to have fun, network, sample some great food and drink, and prepare to have a good time. En guete!
Saturday Evening: Fondue Farewell Feast
Saturday 1800–late: The Swiss love to eat cheese. Simply put, they are cheese connoisseurs, and the Mövenpick Hotel Restaurant is a popular place for locals to come for their fondue and raclette. But on Saturday evening on December 7th, they are out of luck – the Alpine-themed restaurant is reserved for conference delegates, ready to experience the “Peak Swiss” dining experience!
The Sunday Swiss Chocolate Excursion
Late morning transport provided to the world famous Chocolate Frey Factory to experience how chocolate is made. Your senses will be tantalized with the smells, tastes and sheer visual delight of artistic chocolate creations. At the end of tour, indulge in chocolate heaven by helping yourself to all you can confections. For those who are inspired, a chocolate moulding atelier will also be offered. €50, limited to 20 places.
